ZAOGA lauded for infrastructure development

HARARE – The church has been commended for the role it plays in unifying people and its participation in economic development programmes.

Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa (ZAOGA) church recently celebrated its 57th anniversary since the church was formed in 1960 by Professor Ezekiel Guti.

Speaking at the commemorations held in Bindura where the church was formed, the Minister of State for Mashonaland Central province, Advocate Martin Dinha commended ZAOGA for complementing the government’s ZIM ASSET programme through infrastructure development.

ZAOGA resident prophet for Mashonaland Central province, Prophet John Moyounotsva said their church has managed to built a university and a cathedral hospital in an effort to improve education and the health delivery system.

ZAOGA church was founded in 1960 on 12 May by Professor Guti and to date the church has spread to over 130 nations.
