ZDP condemns MDC-T

HARARE – A previously unknown two men political outfit believed to be sponsored by State intelligence agents Zimbabwe Development Party (ZDP) has castigated MDC-T youths for what it called unruly behaviour that led to the death of ZRP Inspector, Petros Mutedza, urging the nation’s political parties to desist from violent activities.

Adding its voice to the widespread condemnation of the MDC-T youths after the murder by Zanu PF loyalists, ZDP says all Zimbabweans should respect the law and desist from causing chaos in the country by attacking law enforcement agents carrying out their duties.

The party’s secretary, Reverend Everisto Chikanga said the law of the country must be respected and where political differences occur, relevant channels should be followed instead of resorting to killing those entrusted with maintaining law and order.

“We are saying to all the political parties in Zimbabwe, stop such unruly practices and to give respect to the law as violence is not a remedy in any dispute,” he said.
