The West don't acknowledge Zimbabwe's independence: Chihuri

THE Commissioner-General of the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Augustine Chihuri said the imposition of targeted sanctions against Zanu by some western countries is a clear indication that colonists do not want to acknowledge the Zimbabwe's independence.\r\n

The Commissioner-General was addressing more than 300 members of the police force including recruits who are headed for Mozambique and Zambia for a tour to honour fallen heroes who perished in those countries during the liberation struggle.

The contingent is expected to tour Chimoyo, Nyadzonya, and Tembwe in Mozambique as well as Mkushi, Mulungushi and other freedom camps in Zambia.
