The sporting gesture by the organisers is enabling free entry for school children and free transport to the venue.
"Some of these children are our most loyal fans and really look up to the Masakadza’s, Taibu’s and Coventry’s of this world. It would mean a lot to them to get the chance to see their heroes play alongside Brian Lara or Lance Kluesner.
We appreciate the difficulty that some children may face in getting to and from the venue to watch a game of cricket which is why we have availed our bus and hired others to ferry them to and from Harare Sports Club, "said Zimbabwe Cricket board spokesperson, Shingai Rhuhwaya.
Transport has been provided from the 13th of November and will continue to be availed throughout the games which end on the 21st of November. Pick up points in Highfield will be by Chipembere High School, at the Central Junction in Chitungwiza and by Mabvuku Spar in Mabvuku.
