Zimbabwean man stabbed to death in Slough

Tarirai Ransome Munjanja, known as Terry, was fatally wounded in a fight at a property in Bradley Road, Baylis, in Slough, at 10.30pm on Saturday.

Detectives currently believe he died of injuries received during an altercation. The ambulance service informed Thames Valley Police of the incident at 10.28pm on Saturday night after paramedics were called to an address in Bradley Road, Baylis.

Thames Valley Police have launched a murder investigation. Det Chf Insp Mick Saunders, who is leading the probe, said: "This appears to have been an entirely pointless loss of life and we are following one distinct line of inquiry to trace a named individual involved in the altercation on Saturday evening.

"Although there are operational and legal reasons why I cannot publicly name him at this time, I am appealing to him to give himself up and give us his account of events."

Munjanja’s family and friends have been informed and were said to be "very distressed by his death

The cul de sac end of Bradley Road is currently cordoned off.

Nobody has been arrested and police are appealing for information.
