The album launch will start with a crusade tonight and continue tomorrow at 12 noon with a church service conducted by Pastor Mandizvidza of the Assemblies of God.
The eight-track album features the talents of Trymore Bande, Itai Sandross and Talent Chigwanha on vocals while produced by Charles Ayibeki, who recently produced for the likes of Mathias Mhere and others.
In an interview The Herald Entertainment Alpha, said the latest album is better in terms of arrangement and quality than her first self-titled album.
The 34-year-old singer said as much as she was an engineer down in South Africa her new found love for music was special.
During the launch, Alpha will use the crusade to introduce herself to the people of Uzumba and also share the stage with the likes of Bande and Chigwanha.
She hinted that some of the tracks that will excite her fans include “Pedyo Nomuchinjikwa” featuring Bande. The song is a prayer to God.
It asks God to protect his people and it also dissuades people from procrastinating because time waits for no man. Another track worth mentioning is titled “Ndinouya Jesu” that says money cannot buy happiness but the joy of the Lord. Alpha said she was hopeful that the new album will be appreciated by all and sundry since the message was relevant to people from all walks of life.
