HARARE – Trading on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange today was subdued as the industrial index slipped 0.82 points despite Monday’s high performance by the benchmark index.

The industrial index retreated by 0.82 points to close at 167.94 points.

\n

ECONET, EDGARS and HIPPO went down by a cent each to close at 54 cents, 8.50 cents and 49 cents.

\n

INNSCOR lost 0.80 cents to settle at 59 cents while DELTA dropped 0.70 cents to 115.30 cents.

\n

The losses were partially offset by gains in BAT which increased by 20 cents to 1170 cents.

\n

OK ZIMBABWE recovered 0.80 cents to 14 cents and MASIMBA added 0.25 cents to close at 1.75 cents.

\n

The mining index was flat 47.09 points.

\n

BINDURA and FALGOLD were unchanged at 4 cents and 2.50 cents.

\n

It was the same story with HWANGE and RIOZIM as they also traded unchanged at 4.25 cents and 10 cents.
