HARARE – The embattled ruling party Zanu PF Politburo has expelled former Secretary for Administration,  Didymus Mutasa and Hurungwe West legislator,  Themba Mliswa from the party.

\n

While it was a doom’s day for Mutasa and Mliswa, others received good news after Mudzi South legislator, Jonathan Samkange; Bikita West member, Dr Munyaradzi Kereke and Daniel Garwe were re-admitted into the party.

\n

Mutasa and Mliswa were fired for indiscipline, with the former standing accused of a host of transgressions.

\n

Mutasa was on record discrediting the 6th Zanu PF Congress held last December, declaring its outcomes as null and void.

\n

He even wrote to SADC and the African Union (AU) calling on them to intervene in the matter in which he was ousted from party position of Secretary for Administration.

\n

After such acts, the party tasked the National Disciplinary Committee to decide Mutasa’s fate.

The First Lady, Dr Grace Mugabe, who was part of the disciplinary committee and the Secretary of the Women’s League, made her maiden appearance in the Politburo today following her elevation to lead the wing during the December congress.
