MDC’s Misihairabwi-Mushonga resigns

HARARE – National Assembly member for Umzingwane through proportional representation, Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga has resigned as MDC Secretary General.

She tendered her resignation to party leader, Professor Welshman Ncube last week.

\n

The development was confirmed by the party’s deputy president, Edwin Mushoriwa today.

\n

In a statement, Mushoriwa said Professor Ncube accepted Misihairabwi-Mushonga’s resignation.

\n

The resignation comes after repeated clashes between Misihairabwi-Mushonga and party members largely over her alleged imposition in the Matabeleland South constituency.
