President Mugabe addresses Zanu-PF supporters soon after his arrival Addis Ababa, Ethiopia this afternoon.

President Mugabe arrived back home this afternoon from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to a rousing welcome by thousands of Zanu-PF supporters following his recent election as the African Union chairperson at the just ended 24th Ordinary Summit of the continental body’s General Assembly.

The President addressed the supporters on his appointment, assuring them that he was ready to change the face of the continent through implementation of progressive policies such as value addition and beneficiation to natural resources.

The AU, he said, should be the engine for development on the continent.
