“The victims of the unwarranted attacks are Johanna Mamombe, Harare West district youth secretary, Bernard Ncube, Harare West district chair, and Tangai Magawa, Hatfield district youth chair,” the party said.

The main opposition party said the attacks were led by Zanu PF Harare youth chairman Godfrey Gomwe. “The rowdy Zanu PF youths, led by their Harare province chairman Gomwe, attacked our youth for merely wearing the party regalia and carrying out visibility programmes in Budiriro. They ordered MDC youths to remove their T-shirts,” the party claimed.
